What the tool receives
When you submit a link, our server receives that URL to retrieve the video details and prepare a requested file. Do not submit private URLs or information you do not want processed. A normal web request also includes technical information such as your IP address, browser information and request time.
Temporary processing
Retrieved metadata is kept for up to 30 minutes and prepared files for one hour after completion. Private task records, including the submitted video URL and selected format, survive service restarts and are retained for up to seven days from task creation. Preparation is limited to 20 minutes from the original task creation; restarting does not extend this limit. Cleanup runs periodically, so expired files may remain briefly until the next cleanup. There is no public feed of submitted links or downloads.
Remembering recent downloads
This browser stores up to 20 random task identifiers and their expiry times in local storage for up to seven days, so recent tasks can be retrieved after a refresh or a later visit. Video URLs, titles, account credentials and signed media links are not stored in browser history storage. The submitted video URL and selected format remain in private server task records and are used when you request a retry. Anyone using the same browser profile may see the retained history and download available files. Remove and Clear history delete records from this browser only; they do not cancel running tasks or immediately delete private server records. Expired records are discarded when you return. Clearing site data or using a different browser prevents automatic restoration.
Logs, cookies and analytics
The web server keeps access logs, which can include IP addresses and requested paths. Submitted video links are sent in the request body and are not included in ordinary access-log URLs. Optional Google Analytics 4 measures public page visits and result-download choices only after your Allow choice. No advertising storage is enabled by this setup; see the optional analytics notice to allow, reject or change your choice. We keep private daily operational totals for 30 days, including format categories, preparation outcomes, retry counts, waiting times and file-response completion or interruption. These totals contain no video URLs, titles, IP addresses or task identifiers, and are not sent to an analytics provider. A finished server response does not prove that a file was saved on your device.
External services
The tool contacts the video source to retrieve details and media. Video thumbnails are loaded from YouTube image servers, which receive your browser request. External services apply their own privacy policies.
