How to download YouTube videos and resume a task
Prepare an MP4 or MP3, find the saved file on your phone, and use recent downloads when a task needs another attempt.
Copy your link
Open the individual YouTube video or Short and copy its share link.
Pick a format
Paste the link, check the video details, and choose an available video or audio option.
Save the file
Prepare your download, then follow the browser save prompt. Check Downloads when it finishes.
Prepare the file, then save it
Copy the link to one video or Short, paste it into the tool, and choose a format. Select Prepare file, wait until it is ready, then select Download file. On a phone, check the browser’s Downloads list or the Files app; preparation alone does not save a copy to your device.
Choose a format that fits
MP4 includes video and sound; MP3 is audio only. A 720p file is usually smaller than 1080p. Higher resolution or bitrate cannot improve the original recording. Only the options available for your link are shown; Shorts retain the source framing.
Let a saved task retry
If a task is waiting to retry, you do not need to submit the link again. Automatic attempts are limited to 20 minutes from task creation. A source restriction may still prevent completion. When automatic attempts stop, use Retry download in Recent downloads later.
Return in the same browser
Recent downloads keeps up to 20 task records for 7 days in this browser. Refreshing or closing the page does not cancel a saved task. A server restart can resume an unfinished task within its original time limit. Clearing site data or using another browser prevents automatic restoration.
Check the two expiry times
A prepared file is available for 1 hour after completion; its task record lasts up to 7 days from creation. If the file has expired but the record remains, Retry download starts a new attempt without pasting the link. It still needs access to the source and is not guaranteed to succeed.
Current limits: videos up to 60 minutes, files up to 500 MB, and resolution up to 1080p. Availability depends on the source.
